WHEN WAS IT STARTED?

Global Hospitals Group  was founded in 1999 in Hyderabad (India) as a 150-bed tertiary care hospital. It quickly grew and after establishing a second 300-bed hospital in 2002 in Hyderabad, the Group went on to establish a chain of super specialty hospitals across other major cities in India. 

In order to meet the changing needs of the community and offer a comprehensive range of healthcare services, the Group has made remarkable growth and expansion over the past few years. The latest step in this development was the opening of the Global Health City, a 27-acre multi super specialty 500-bed quaternary care facility in Chennai and the Global Hospitals, Bengaluru, a 500-bed state-of-the-art multi-disciplinary tertiary care facility with world class facilities and Global Hospitals, Mumbai, a 450-bed multi-super specialty and multi-organ transplant facility at the financial capital of India.
